Sunrise, sunset & golden hour times worldwide
Today's sunrise, sunset, day length, golden hour and blue hour for 64 cities — computed with the NOAA solar algorithm. Pick a city for the full breakdown, updated daily.
Each city page gives you sunrise, sunset and the exact length of today's day, plus the morning and evening golden and blue hours — the times photographers, runners and early risers actually plan around. The figures are recomputed from the sun's real position, so they track the seasons and the high-latitude extremes: polar day and polar night are handled, not fudged.
Chasing the light while you travel? Combine a destination's sun times with its jet-lag plan — morning daylight is exactly what pulls an eastward body clock back into line.
FAQ
How accurate are the sun times?
They use the NOAA solar position algorithm — equation of time, solar declination and atmospheric refraction — accurate to within a minute or two for any latitude, poles included.
What is golden hour?
The window when the sun sits between about −4° and +6° of the horizon, giving soft, warm light. Blue hour is the dimmer stretch just below that. Each city page lists both for morning and evening.
